Imaginenation Collective was founded in 2017, they started off just making “cool videos” but soon realized the formula and art behind really creating effective videos. There is marketing strategies behind each video created and they take care of you from conceptualizing the video script to the final visual ready for distribution - when you work with INC, you’re working with pure passion.
Imagination collective has been killing it over the past 4 years however they were ready for a facelift and update for their brand. They have awesome creative content but due to an inactive social account and an outdated website their reach was limited. Our goal became to start with giving them a new social media plan as well as creating a new site. The direction we went with was minimal so it had that ease for the user experience but something that was creative and made their content easily accessible for their viewers.
Along with the new website design, part of the challenge was to incorporate the current JS Batt Less branding to fit throughout various pages. When it came to implementing the logo, it was clear that it was also in need of a rebrand. With this in mind, a logo was created to solve the task of having a recognizable icon alongside the Batt Less wordmark to allow for a bit more flexibility in use. This idea is what created the initial design, focusing on having something that is simple and readable at different sizes. The initial design was received well, but the client wanted to move away from an actual “battery cell”, to describe the product. Through ideation, we arrived at the current design, which takes cues from a transmission/engine indicator you might see on a car dashboard, and incorporates the “JS'' word mark. This pairs with their current bolded font to retain some of i’ts original design, while modernizing the brand and allowing for different variations of use throughout the website and other mediums.
Ever since the launch of Imaginenation Collectives website viewership has gone up and their conversion as well. They are now more automated limiting the number of calls and inquiries as information is much more accessible for their users. Not to mention they are now able to showcase their work and let their website act as a portfolio and a selling tool instead of the out dated process they had before with limited content and information.
