DirectBed.ca is a click and mortar company based out of Hamilton since 2013 they are online, with the added convenience of a pick up location. Their team at DirectBed.ca is dedicated to making sure you get premium Canadian made sleep products, delivered to you quickly and professionally. After years in the industry, Direct Bed is a fresh take on the mattress industry, offering all the convenience of online shopping, with the added trust of retail outlets to ensure you are finding the perfect product for your comfort and budget.
They had been doing well with sales organically but had 0 social presence that is where we came in and really aimed to give the brand a face lift and create that credibility online. The goal was to build brand awareness as well as an online community growing followers into prospects through our well researched content creation. We wanted to really show to consumers the message and behind this family brand through our visuals and content creation.
Along with the new website design, part of the challenge was to incorporate the current JS Batt Less branding to fit throughout various pages. When it came to implementing the logo, it was clear that it was also in need of a rebrand. With this in mind, a logo was created to solve the task of having a recognizable icon alongside the Batt Less wordmark to allow for a bit more flexibility in use. This idea is what created the initial design, focusing on having something that is simple and readable at different sizes. The initial design was received well, but the client wanted to move away from an actual “battery cell”, to describe the product. Through ideation, we arrived at the current design, which takes cues from a transmission/engine indicator you might see on a car dashboard, and incorporates the “JS'' word mark. This pairs with their current bolded font to retain some of i’ts original design, while modernizing the brand and allowing for different variations of use throughout the website and other mediums.
Facebook & Instagram - We had increased their following as well as organic impressions to 5k per week! This means over 20k Impressions organically. We created memorable content for their feed which created brand awareness and increased sales. Working hand in hand with influencers who assisted in getting reach to over 50k people across the GTA. The following has been on a steady rise of 30-40 new followers per month.
