AfroWaveTO is a Toronto-based platform celebrating urban music, spotlighting genres like Dancehall, Afrobeat, Reggaeton, and Soca. Founded by Jamaican-Canadian artist Lexxicon, it bridges gaps, empowers artists, and fosters community connections.

Our goal was to bring their brand values to life with a modernized, versatile logo, symbolizing movement and energy. We looked to Toronto's diversity and colours to inspire the brand's identity. Ultimately, we settled on a bold orange, representing creativity, ambition, and confidence. The custom typeface strikes a balance between readability and artistic flair. AfroWaveTO's rebrand buzzed within the community, increased engagement, and led to sold-out events. As the movement continues, the wave grows stronger, reflecting pulsating beats and an unwavering commitment to unity.
